Slickety Quick, written by Skila Brown is a book of poetry, about sharks. It was a very different book for me. The images are sort of realistic and needed to accurately show different species of sharks, their habitat and in some cases, prey. I typically create my own worlds and what ever goes on in them is up to me. It was kind of satisfying to actually do research that was more than just inspiration. Turns out reality is more interesting than I had thought.
