Give Me Back My Bones is a raucous pirate story written by Kim Norman. The Basic story line is that a pirate’s skeleton bones get scattered in a storm and it has to collect itself back together.

I had fun with this one. I first had to figure out how does a bodiless skull go about doing this. He obviously needed a hand (literally). I enlisted the help of  squids, octopi, moray eels, pufferfish, jellyfish and other intestine sea creatures I’ve always wanted to draw. The main challenge was to keep the fun up when your main character spends much of the book dismembered.

These are the end pages. I had the bones scattered the front and assembled in the back of the book.
